You're in control of every aspect - from style and color palette to the size and types of flowers. I'm here to guide and offer insights for a stunning result, but your vision leads the way.

This experience goes beyond design. You'll be hands-on in every step – from selecting and purchasing flowers to preparing vessels, understanding mechanics, and exploring various techniques. Each step is rich with nuances that I'll help you navigate.

A Day in the Life of a Florist:
By the end of the session, you’ll have lived a day like a professional florist, immersed in the art and craft of floristry. Plus, I’ll guide you in crafting floral still lifes that look as though they’ve stepped out of Renaissance paintings - creations so beautiful, you might just end up framing them!
After you purchase the experience, I will contact you to arrange a date and time.
On the day of your session, we’ll meet at San Francisco’s Flower Mart to hand-select your blooms and vessel. From there, you’ll head to the Malva + Moss studio for a guided, hands-on design session—followed by a styled mini shoot to capture your finished piece.
*For the best flower selection, I recommend booking from Tuesday to Saturday, starting around 9-9:30 am. The workshop schedule is closely aligned with the San Francisco Flower Mart's operating hours to ensure we have access to the best blooms available.

Your floral journey begins at the San Francisco Flower Mart, where you’ll select your flowers with me. Afterwards, the creative session continues at Malva + Moss home studio.

You have the choice of crafting either a bespoke bouquet or a dazzling centerpiece arrangement.

The experience fee does not include the cost of flowers and vessels. During our market visit, you’ll have the freedom to purchase these based on your style and vision, all at wholesale prices.

Yes, it’s perfect for anyone! Whether you’re a budding enthusiast or a seasoned flower lover, I will tailor the session to your skill level.

The entire workshop spans a fulfilling and creative 4 to 5 hours. We begin with 60-90 minutes dedicated to selecting and purchasing flowers, followed by a 2-hour design session at my home studio. After creating your masterpiece, you'll have an additional hour to capture photos and videos of your arrangement in my photo studio, perfect for preserving and sharing your experience.

Our studio is nestled in El Cerrito, East Bay. It's conveniently located, taking roughly a 20-minute drive from the San Francisco Flower Mart.
