The Brambles: A Wedding in Three Acts

Tucked beneath the towering redwoods of The Brambles, Bianca and Frederick’s wedding became a quiet reflection on intimacy, form, and understated wonder. Thoughtfully composed with unexpected twists and deeply personal touches, the design unfolded across three distinct moments—each with its own visual language.

The ceremony, set in a shaded grove, embraced the landscape’s stillness. Sculptural ground arrangements in varying forms marked the altar and aisle, composed in layered shades of green and white. No two were alike—each bushy cluster felt grown, not placed, offering a modern, grounded take on woodland romance.

Bianca’s bouquet mirrored this restraint: calla lilies, anthuriums, and oncidium orchids, tied with a thin black ribbon—deliberate and refined.

Cocktail hour shifted the palette and tone—rust, burnt orange, and red danced through florals, herbs, and tomatoes. Sunflowers, a nod to the couple’s story, added a bold, sentimental gesture to the bar installation. The vibe was playful, warm, and just the right amount of retro.

Dinner reception was held beneath a canopy of trees, where round and long tables mixed oat-toned linens with yellow-edged menus and golden oncidium arrangements. Loose fruit and beeswax candles completed the tablescapes—elegant yet relaxed, designed to feel like the most elevated summer dinner party.

As dusk fell, the formality dissolved. What followed was a night of light, laughter, and movement—each space revealing itself in rhythm with the unfolding celebration.

This wasn’t just a wedding. It was a living, breathing installation—an atmosphere created to be felt, not just seen.

Working with Alisa was such a pleasure—she went above and beyond with the floral design, and every detail she created was stunning. We’re all so grateful for Alisa’s artistry, care, and presence throughout Bianca and Freddy’s wedding weekend and for the beauty she brought to the celebration.

Alisa’s work helped make this weekend feel effortless, intentional, and unforgettable.
