To the Byrds: Maximalism with Intention at Triple S Ranch Napa
For Yoana and Dylan’s wedding at Triple S Ranch Napa, floral design became a practice in both curation and discovery—inviting guests into a world where each vignette felt deeply personal, textural, and layered with meaning.
The bridal bouquet, tailored to the floral motif of Yoana’s gown, featured cascading mauve cymbidiums wired for fluidity and movement. Bridesmaids carried petite jasmine bouquets—balancing the bridal statement while harmonizing with the garden‑inspired dresses and the airy textures of the ceremony design.
Rather than relying on floral volume, the ceremony aisle was lined with grasses and textured botanicals to create softness and movement while honoring the venue’s rustic charm.
The welcome table told a story—mossy hills and premium blooms framed a vintage chest filled with walnuts and old newspaper clippings, honoring the 200-year-old Black Walnut Tree beneath which they were wed.
The escort table display leaned Japanese in influence—a moss-covered tablescape with stone plates, mushrooms, anemones, and ferns, as if nature had slowly taken over.
Dinner unfolded beneath the trees with four unique table designs:
Anthuriums with grapes and amaranthus—clean and sculptural.
Callas, moss, and mushrooms on black stone plates—Japanese, architectural.
Moody fruit-scapes with mauve roses and asters—lush, dramatic, unexpected.
Sculptural vegetables—cabbage roses, anthuriums, Moby Dick asclepias, bitter melon, kale, peppers—offbeat yet refined.
Between two redwoods, the sweetheart table appeared embedded in the landscape—wrapped in moss, crowned with florals, and quietly cinematic.
From thoughtful ingredients to editorial composition, this celebration embodied the couple’s vision: modern, poetic, and slightly surreal.
“Alisa didn’t just bring our vision to life—she expanded it beyond what we imagined. She was a thought partner, an artist, and a calming presence throughout the process. From our moss-draped tables to my one-of-a-kind bouquet, every detail felt intentional, personal, and breathtaking. Her work didn’t just meet expectations—it defined the atmosphere of our day.”
