Vintage Nobility with Modern Restraint at The Madrona
Blake and Mike’s wedding at The Madrona was cultivated slowly and intentionally over twelve months of collaboration. Together, we refined every layer—from the precise shade of off-white linens to last-minute floral selections and carefully chosen vintage rentals. Trust shaped the process; detail defined the result.
The aesthetic balanced vintage nobility with modern restraint—elevated yet intimate.
Blake’s bridal bouquet featured white roses chosen specifically for their generous bloom and soft, cloudlike petals at full opening—demure, regal, and quietly commanding. A second bouquet of thick-stemmed calla lilies cascaded dramatically for portraits, offering a sculptural contrast.
Guests entered through tall urn arrangements before moving along an alley toward a fountain draped in clematis vines and floating blooms.
At the ceremony, Mediterranean amphora clay pots anchored the altar—overflowing with antique hydrangea, delphinium, orchids, Bells of Ireland, and garden roses. Smaller vessels with moss and calla lilies spilled organically at the beginning of the seating rows, while rain tree pods and David Austin roses framed the aisle’s end. The result felt both timeless and modern.
The linen-draped seating chart was accented with a minimal ground composition of pine and oriental lilies—restrained, architectural, and quietly artful. Cocktail hour introduced a deeper, moodier palette, creating a chic tonal transition before dinner.
Beneath the citrus grove, three long banquet rows carried patterned linens, low clustered centerpieces, and scattered fruit—still life in motion. Vintage silver candelabras and candle holders, thoughtfully sourced from antique markets and complemented by rentals from Frances Lane, cast an immersive candlelit glow. Ceremony florals were later repurposed along the reception trellis and table ends, tying the evening together with seamless continuity.
A wedding built with patience and precision—layered, luminous, and enduring.
“Working with Alisa was more than hiring a florist—it was entering a true creative partnership. Every detail felt intentional, elevated, and deeply personal. From my bouquet to the candlelit grove reception, she transformed our vision into something timeless and unforgettable.”
